This portion of Ohio also contains one of the best antiquing cities in the nation. Waynesville is known as the "Antique capitol of the Midwest.



Waynesville has 5 blocks of historic buildings that contain more than 100 shops and galleries. The shops are located on Main Street ,High Street, and Miami Street. You will also find a collection of galleries and stores that sell gift items and local cuisine.

Another popular attraction in the area is the Ohio Renaissance Festival. The festival runs from late August to mid-October.



Over 150 performers re-enact 16th century England. Full-armoured jousts take place 3 times a day. Sword fights occur daily, and there is ample food and drink available for purchase.



Admission is $12.95 for adults, and $6.00 for children 5 to 12
